Did you mention Share HERCoN?

Yes, I mentioned Share HERCoN!

Yes, Nexus 3.0 is part of Share HERCoN, a collaborative effort involving core partners such as the Agence Française de la Francophonie and the Université Clermont Auvergne (France), Caritas International (Belgium), and the University of Galway (Ireland), and associated partners, the UNHCR and the Réseau MENS. It is co-funded by the European Union.
But what is it all about? It's pretty straightforward!

Share HERCoN is an acronym. Whether AI-generated or not, it is not the catchiest one on earth, let’s assume. Yet, its aim is simple: the HERCoN project aims to create sustainable pathways for refugees to access higher education (HE) throughout the European Union.
The Share HERCoN is about creating and expanding high-quality, sustainable complementary education pathways for refugees in the EU.
This initiative started in September 2024 and will last until August 2026.

Over this period, we will aim to:

– Build the HERCoN Community of Practice – Foster collaboration, peer learning, and sharing of best practices to develop sustainable higher education pathways for refugees across the EU.

– Engage higher education and Civil Society – Boost awareness, interest, and engagement in refugee education pathways among universities, vocational schools, students, and community groups.

– Empower Through Training and Capacity Building – Equip educators, students, and civil society with the skills and capacity needed to support education pathways for refugees.

– Promote Inclusive Policy Dialogue – Advocate for integrating refugee education pathways into mainstream education, migration, and integration policies.
